Dr. Ron Perry is a licensed psychologist in California and a nationally certified counselor. He has a strong background in both clinical and counseling psychology and extensive experience treating a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relational problems, and life transitions. Additionally, Dr. Perry specializes in treating substance use and addictions.
In his private practice, Dr. Perry provides psychotherapy, counseling, psychological assessment and evaluation, and psychological and professional consultation. A strong emphasis is placed on treating all clients with acceptance and respect, and Dr. Perry welcomes clients of all backgrounds, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientations, spiritual/religious beliefs and personal histories.
Dr. Perry has also served as the Chair for the Master’s Degree program in Counseling Psychology at John F. Kennedy University and is currently an associate professor for National University. As a professor, he has taught multiple graduate level courses at JFK University, National University, and Golden Gate University, including Psychopharmacology, Multi-Cultural Counseling, Treatment of Addictions, Research Methods, Crisis and Trauma, and Community Mental Health.
